JFT Training & Governance Week
Join us for JFT Professional Learning Week, a full slate of trainings open to both members and non‑members. This week’s offerings include CPR certification and AVIRT (Active Violence Immediate Response Training)— the two courses will be bundled together to be eligible for CEU credit.
We’ll also host two focused, 2‑hour sessions on FMLA and Documentation (non‑CEU), designed to give you practical tools you can use immediately in your workplace. Non‑members are welcome to attend and will pay a registration fee for each course.
As part of the week’s events, we’ll also hold our monthly JFT Board Meeting, where we will nominate members to serve on the Election Committee. All JFT union members are invited to attend the public portion of the meeting; please notify the president in advance so we can prepare materials and share the agenda and Zoom link.

Monday, March 9

Tuesday, March 10
- Professional Development: AVIRT — 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM in the CWA Hall, 760 N West St, Ste B. Register & purchase tickets here.
- JFT Executive Board Meeting (Via Zoom). The agenda will include the president's report, vice president’s report, treasurer’s report, and election committee nominations. JFT Members register here.
